Stop da skylarking God is not mocked!
If you think that He is then that thinking must stop!
Stop da skylarking God is not mocked!
His grace is sufficient but His wrath is hot!

You see, it’s easy for me to settle with the little I know,
Go with the flow and fall into routine behaviour.
Like going to church coz it seems the right thing
But heart & mind not linking with the Lord and Saviour.
Like going to the gym to become more thin
But doing nothing about the way I’m eating.
So gotta read my bible daily, study and pray
Coz that way, church is not just a social meeting.

So, stop da skylarking God is not mocked!
If you think that He is then that thinking must stop!
Stop da skylarking God is not mocked!
His grace is sufficient but His wrath is hot!

You see, I can involve myself in Godly things,
Go church and sing and look all righteous.
But in my heart let lust reign free,
For the things I see and not want it silenced.
Only a matter of time before my heart will speak
Rendering me weak when the truth is exposed.
So before falling down that slippery slide
I must put pride aside and approach God’s throne.

Gotta, stop da skylarking coz God is not mocked!
If you think that He is then that thinking must stop!
Stop da skylarking God is not mocked!
His grace is sufficient but His wrath is hot!

His grace abounds to those, His elect I suppose,
To those He chose who don’t deserve it.
He knows my thoughts even before they register
So can’t get over familiar with His grace and abuse it.
I’m bound by sinful flesh as a result of the fall
But it’s no excuse at all to keep committing sins habitual.
I’m not condemned in Christ so must stop walking in flesh
Must sow to the spirit, mind refreshed and not be carnal.

So people, stop da skylarking God is not mocked!
If you think that He is then that thinking must stop!
Stop da skylarking God is not mocked!
His grace is sufficient but His wrath is hot!
