“IT’S A MESSAGE”: Love – Not a Mistake | by Taiwo

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:1 (KJV)

When we look at the world that we live in today one can stop to think and even ask these following questions;
“If there is a God, why is there so much evil in the world”, or
“If God is all knowing and all powerful as people say He is, surely He should have known how this world would turn out and put a stop to it?”, or
“Why did He go ahead in creating this world knowing full well that life would turn out this way – evil?”

In as much as these questions might sound reasonable to be asked, the reality is God had a plan and a purpose when He created this world; so instead of us getting hung up with questions we think are right and reasonable, we need to be asking a different kind of question like;
“If there is an all knowing and powerful God what was His purpose during and after creation; and why has He allowed us to carry on in our evil and not stopped us?”

Has God made a mistake in creating mankind? No He hasn’t. The interesting thing about Love is seeing and knowing the errors of others but yet choosing to work with it. God loved us (He still loves us) and will continue to love us even after and when we make mistakes. “For God so loved the world that he gave…” (John 3:16).

But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:8 (KJV)

God knew (and still knows) we’d be unable to love Him in the same way He loves us, but still He never stopped showing us His love. No matter how much we’ve messed things up, God still loves us and He showed it by sending Jesus to die for us all. God’s love for mankind is not a mistake; He never makes mistakes.

God bless.
